A proud reputation

Pathrec was founded in 1994 as an accredited training facility in Pathology Collection for Registered Nurses. The company gained State (Victoria) and National recognition for its training which became listed as courses for TAFE (Technical and Further Education).

Pathology Collection for insurance purposes was a separate part of the business. It fulfilled a clear need for unique skills and processes that would:

• deliver accuracy and reliability for insurers and
• provide comfort and privacy for applicants.

Pathrec's move to mobile services, where applicants were attended in their home and offices, gained wider appeal as more Financial Advisors and Insurers sought to process insurance-related medical data more efficiently and conveniently.

With the recent introduction of TeleCheck, a Telephone Underwriting service, Pathrec provides a complete end-to-end solution for the finance sector, which dramatically reduces completion times for insurance applications, and minimises errors, repeat interviews and costs.

Pathrec has grown to be one of the largest mobile medical and paramedical networks in Australia, with 2,500 qualified medical and paramedical staff, providing services to insurance companies and banks in Australia and to their offices in the USA and UK.
