Pathrec subscribes to the latest web-based technologies to streamline the underwriting process, enabling more applications to be evaluated and processed in less time with far greater convenience and accuracy.

Whether applicant medical information is collected by telephone (Telecheck), via our mobile service or a medical clinic, Pathrec handles all the details, collates and forwards them securely by email to the insurer or provides secure online access. In this way, we minimise the paperwork and time taken to collect and process information, and maximise the convenience and efficiency for all parties.

We maintain the applicant's file on our database, providing a unique secure login for each financial advisor and insurer. Protected by SSL Verisign, 2 levels of security provide selective online access so that, respectively, they can track the progress of the application and access the required data to evaluate the risk profile of the applicant.

With Telecheck, our new Tele-Underwriting Service, we take underwriting to a new technology level. Using Telecheck, we can enter applicants' data directly into an electronic underwriting system, eliminating the duplication of client data and potential errors. If insurers have their own system, we can log in to theirs and enter data directly, or they can use our system. Telecheck provides the complete underwriting solution, the expert underwriting choice, underpinned by the latest online technologies.

We can also use our own system as an alternative rather than logging into insurers data base systems.
