The expert underwriting choice

The TeleCheck interview:

General

• is conducted by phone by a Registered Nurse
• generally takes 30-45 minutes
• is conducted in the applicant's home or workplace

Procedure

The applicant's Financial Advisor will:

• request personal ID information
• ask for 3 alternative times to receive a call from the Pathrec nurse

The Pathrec nurse will call the applicant at one of those times and ask a number of questions about:

• medical history
• medical history of immediate family
• current and previous doctor/heath professional
• medications taken over the last 5 years
• medical tests taken and results
• risky activities undertaken
• insurance policy details

The nurse will enter the applicant's details into a database and also record the interview. The applicant may check the interview details and email or post it back.

Pathrec will:

• arrange any additional tests
• collate them with the interview results
• forward the applicant's file securely to the insurer for considerstion
